Getting Started

What QuoPeek does

QuoPeek is a Mac menu-bar app that keeps Codex usage visible. It requires macOS 13 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon, and Codex Desktop, signed in and running. Select Free / Go Monthly, Plus 5h and Weekly, or Codex Pro General Weekly during setup.

Menu Bar & Display

Display choices

Free includes Standard. Pro adds Compact and Minimal menu-bar displays.

Refresh

Manual and automatic refresh

Use Refresh whenever you want an update. Automatic refresh runs when safe. Free offers 10 or 30 minutes; Pro offers 30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 30 minutes.

Alerts

Thresholds and repeats

Free uses 40% and Once. Pro offers 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, plus repeat reminders. Reset notifications depend on reliable reset-time information.

Launch at Login

Enable or disable Launch at Login in Settings.

Permissions

Accessibility is a broad macOS permission; QuoPeek uses it only for the visible Codex usage workflow. Notifications are optional.

Licensing
