Upgrade from 1.0.1 once

QuoPeek 1.0.2 introduces in-app updates. Existing 1.0.1 users must manually download and install 1.0.2 once. Quit QuoPeek, download the latest DMG from the homepage, then drag QuoPeek into Applications and choose Replace. Replacing the existing app preserves your established settings and Pro license; you do not need to delete the old app first.

Future supported releases

Starting with updater-enabled versions, QuoPeek can notify you when a newer supported release is available. A red update indicator means a newer unhandled version is available. View Update opens the update details.

Later handles that offered version without installing it. Update & Restart closes QuoPeek, installs the approved update, and automatically reopens it. Your settings are preserved.

You can also use Settings → Updates → Check for Updates. If a check fails, try again later. Updates are not installed automatically.

What QuoPeek does

QuoPeek is a Mac menu-bar app that keeps Codex usage visible. It requires macOS 13 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon, and Codex Desktop, signed in and running. Select Free / Go Monthly, Plus 5h and Weekly, or Codex Pro General Weekly during setup.

Display choices

Free includes Standard. Pro adds Compact and Minimal menu-bar displays.

Manual and automatic refresh

Use Refresh whenever you want an update. Automatic refresh runs when safe. Free offers 10 or 30 minutes; Pro offers 30 seconds, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 30 minutes.

Thresholds and repeats

Free uses 40% and Once. Pro offers 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, plus repeat reminders. Reset notifications depend on reliable reset-time information.

Enable or disable Launch at Login in Settings.

Accessibility is a broad macOS permission; QuoPeek uses it only for the visible Codex usage workflow. Notifications are optional.
